Steven Hawkins gets the bumps
Posted on | September 19, 2008 |
I know its cruel and I’ll probably go to hell for it but here is a picture of the great Steven Hawkins getting the bumps.
For people not familiar with the term ‘the bumps’ it is a practice used (mainly at schools in the UK) to celebrate someone’s birthday - everyone grabs hold of a limb and throws the victim into the air counting the years as they go by. You get one ‘bump’ for each of your years.
Poor Steven doesn’t look like he enjoyed it very much.

He’s not getting “the bumps”. He is one the Zero-Gravity plane flight where the plane flies at a certain angle upwards and then downwards to create the illusion of zero gravity. Whoever wrote this article is retarded.

The article was written as a joke, smart guy.

I do believe it’s what I like to call a ‘joke’ Mark, so it would appear you are the retard.

Mark,
“At the celebration of his 65th birthday on 8 January 2007, Hawking announced his plans for a zero-gravity flight in 2007 to prepare for a sub-orbital spaceflight in 2009 on Virgin Galactic’s space service.”
So Mr. Hawking DID get the bumps for his birthday. Hope that clarified that a bit.

Mark’s right. He’s not getting “the bumps,” he’s in a zero gravity free fall flight.
Also, his name is Steven Hawking, not Hawkins.
